On February 13, the Vice President and the Minister of Agriculture inaugurated the FESTIVAL DE CAFE in La Palma, El Salvador. During his speech the Vice President welcomed the involvement of ICP in the project as an important contribution of the private sector to the sustainable development of coffee in El Salvador. This project, which started in July 2007, would already serve as a model for the rural development in other regions of the country. The Minister of Agriculture expressed his appreciation for the synergies which have established by the project between governmental organisations, the private sector and the Trifinio Comission.
