Chemical Stores for ICP Bigasa project

19 chemical stores have been built in the Bigasa project. These stores provide a safe storage facility for all hazardous products especially pesticides and fertilizers. In addition to the sustainable production and post-harvest practices which are being implemented by the farmers the chemical stores represent a milestone for producers to achieve certification of the sustainably produced coffees.

Finnpartnership is strengthening coffee farmers in Vietnam

Since the project launch in January 2007, the first farmer evaluation meeting was now held in June 2008 in presence of local authorities and Vietnam TV. "The results of the first year's implementation surmounted expectations", the vice chairman of the district said, referring to the practical training of the 400 project beneficiaries.

The Finnpartnership is now also supporting the ICP Vietnam project and specifically the development of a private producer enterprise capable to manage production, processing and marketing of sustainable coffees.
