ICP’s vision is to improve smallholder farmer families’ livelihoods. To achieve that, ICP is not here for the short term. International Coffee Partners is committed to long-term projects and long-term impact in the coffee sustainability sector. That’s why ICP recently reworked its Theory of Change alongside with the current 5-years strategy. We are glad to introduce it now for download.

Smallholder families’ livelihoods can only be improved with a holistic approach that combines different aspects of their daily life such as running a farm like a family business, stronger inclusion of the next generation, mitigating effects of climate change and developing strong farmer organizations. With gender equality as a fundamental aspect of all areas of work, ICP’s aims to joint decision making and planning of responsibilities in smallholder communities.

The vision of International Coffee Partners (ICP) is to improve the livelihoods of smallholder coffee farming families by making them more competitive, based on sustainable practices. – ICP’s Vision of Change

Within the current projects in Honduras, Brazil, Ethiopia, Uganda, Tanzania and Indonesia ICP motivates smallholder families to grow quality coffee and to diversify production to secure food consumption and to stabilize family income.
